A series of publications that will help you better understand the ever changing labour market of the 51 Employment Regions

JSA has developed a range of resources which provide insights about employment conditions and the labour market in areas across Australia.

They include:

  • Monthly labour market dashboards
  • Industry profiles
  • Recruitment trends and employers' needs profiles

The reports for Australia, states/territories and for the 51 Employment Regions are available below:

Note: due to the cessation of jobactive and the commencement of Workforce Australia, caseload data is temporarily unavailable. Department of Social Services (DSS) job seeker income support payments have been included instead from the September 2022 dashboard release onwards. For more information about the DSS data included in the dashboards refer to the Labour Market Dashboard – sources and quality document on the previous page.

Please also note that the ABS has re-introduced trend estimates. As such, the ‘employed persons’ and ‘unemployment rate’ charts in the labour market dashboards for Australia, the states and territories now use trend data.
